Please plan on joining us at the Beaver Township Community Center on February 19, 2015; a snow date of Feb 26 is reserved. We will start at 6:30 pm CST which will feature comedian Jay Hendren at our Annual Meeting.

Jay Hendren has traveled the nation appearing in comedy clubs and corporate events. He has worked with such acts as Ron White and Larry the Cable Guy, but never forgot his roots growing up on a family farm. This is a comedy event not to be missed.

A delicious dinner will be catered by Devon’s Restaurant and an election will be held to determine who will serve a three year term on the Newton County SWCD board. We will also be having a silent auction so be sure to come early to look at our many items. Tickets may be reserved by calling the SWCD office at 219-285-2217 or contacting one of our board members: Henry Coussens, Jr, Brian Johnson, Mike Schoonveld, Darrell Allen and Lyle Busboom. Republic Services, Applegate Seed House and Ceres Solutions – Ade will be sponsoring the meal this year and tickets MUST be reserved. Please leave a message on the machine if no one is able to get to the phone at 219-285-2217 and Rose Morgan will call you.
